Fix this Pool Deck! Cambridge ON
Challenge
This back pool deck and side walkway in Cambridge, Ontario, had fallen, causing tripping hazards for the homeowners and guests wanting to use the backyard. With toes being stubbed and people falling over the concrete, the homeowners raised their eyebrows at this situation and needed a solution. But, weighing out their options, they could not find a permanent solution until they came across Canadian Concrete Leveling.
Solution
After searching for concrete levelling solutions, we popped up at the top of the page. They wanted to find a cost-effective, minimally invasive, quick, and permanent solution. After giving us a call, we sent our Project Manager, Andy Moncrieff, to the home for a better look. He explained to the homeowners what would be done, how long it would take, who would be coming to the house, and how the materials could hold up permanently. Later during the week, our Installation Supervisor Kyle and Installation Specialist, Aidan, showed up to start the one day of work. We are so efficient that the job will only take a singular day and not interrupt the foot traffic of your home. Aidan began by drilling holes into the lower parts of the leaning-in pool deck. These holes were the size of a Canadian dime and will later be patched up with colour-coordinated concrete. After the drill holes were made, it was time to inject our polyurethane into each hole. This will fill the voids underneath the concrete and push it back to its original height. Thankfully the concretes levelled within minutes and cured almost immediately. This pool deck is going nowhere!
