Double Trip Hazard in Hamilton, Ontario
Challenge
Are you tripping on your concrete when entering your front door or even trying to step into your garage? You're not alone because these homeowners in Hamilton, Ontario, had a sinking front step that created a significant step up into the house. The garage threshold was doing the same thing. The homeowners wanted to resolve these issues before they resulted in injury to their guests. They also wanted to ensure no water or debris was affecting the home's foundation. Unfortunately, many residential sinking concrete problems expose the home's foundation, which can eat away at its structural integrity.
Solution
Our Project Manager, Danny Dos Santos, visited our new clients to let them know how we lift concrete to alleviate stress permanently along the garage threshold and at the bottom of the porch. While our Installation Specialist Bill McKeown began working, the homeowners asked various questions along the way. Bill explained the installation process as he completed levelling the steps and garage. Before they even knew it, the job was complete. The concrete was hazard-free and could be used almost immediately after installation.
