COVID-19 Policies
As we’re sure you are all aware COVID-19 continues to affect our lives. To date we have done a great job of staying safe. Canadian Concrete Leveling is committed to continuing to do just that. As we are fortunate to be able to keep working, we need to continue to do so in a safe manner and respect others as well.
Concrete Leveling is considered an essential service under “Maintenance.”
O. Reg. 82/2: “Maintenance, repair and property management services that manage and maintain the safety, security, sanitation and operation of institutional, commercial, industrial and residential properties and buildings are allowed.”
We take every health and safety precaution necessary to protect our customers, project managers, installation/production teams and office staff.
1. Production Teams: Installation crews are limited to the warehouse/shop. Access to the office is restricted. When Installation Specialists, Supervisors or Sales Reps need anything or have any questions, simply make a phone call to office staff – this is the best method of contact.
NO production staff is to enter the office for ANY reason. This means:
- no use of the kitchen
- no use of the general office facilities
- washroom facility is available in the warehouse/shop
- gloves, glasses, materials and supplies will be located for easy access in the shop
2. Office: Office staff do not need to be in the warehouse or shop when ANY member of the production staff are in the shop. Office staff can pick up/drop off job paperwork after 9 AM in the morning when all production staff have left to go to their assigned job sites.
3. Hand Washing: Everyone is reminded to wash hands with soap and water often since this is the most effective way of stopping the spread of germs and viruses. If this is not possible, use hand sanitizer as often as recommended. Keep a bottle in every truck for regular use. This is mandatory and just a good habit always. There is a large jug available on the paperwork table that should be used when entering or exiting the shop daily. It is for everyone’s benefit that we do this.
4. High-touch Areas Job Sites & Trucks: Hand sanitizer, hand wipes, clean rags with hand sanitizer should be used on job sites to clean door handles that can be touched after a job is completed and quite possibly even before the job is started. There are supplies of Lysol Spray that can be used to disinfect these areas. Spray it on a paper towel or rag and wipe truck handles and areas you have touched. The spray is the best disinfectant to use. This little step will also show the customer how much we care and are doing our part to keep everyone safe. Keeping a bottle of wipes in the front seat of the trucks is required and should be used daily to wipe down highly touched areas.
Limit of only 2 workers per truck.

5. High-touch Areas Office: We will continue to clean door handles and high-touch areas in the office. The warehouse manager will clean handles in the shop daily including the overhead door-opener buttons.
6. Masks: While in the shop area with other co-workers around you MUST WEAR YOUR MASK.
7. Visitors: While we do not have many visitors to the shop or office, visitors should not be entering our building at all. Signs are posted to this effect. If employees see a visitor, they need to remind them of their limits. It is for everyone’s safety.
- All deliveries should be left in the front veranda entrance, or
- if a delivery is for the shop, it should be delivered to the shop door
8. Sales Inspectors & Production Teams: When entering a Customer’s home, please sanitize your hands before entering and after you exit on your way back to your vehicle. For Sales Reps, presentations can be conducted outside or on a Zoom conference meeting which can be highly successful. It lowers a customer’s anxiety and shows how much you care by taking precautions to keep everyone safe.
