Photo Album: Sinking Floor Slopes Garage in Sebright, Ontario
Putting your spin on a home or a cottage is a fun experience. You’re taking something and making it your own and ensuring that you get everything out of the property you can.
A customer in Uxbridge, Ontario, had recently purchased a cottage in Sebright, Ontario. We had previously done work at his Uxbridge home, so when he noticed his new garage floor had settled, he knew exactly who to call.
Project Manager Paul Mendell met with the customer and inspected the garage. The customer was happy we had the perfect solution for him again, and a date was set for the repair.
Foreman Bill McKeown injected numerous dime-sized holes throughout the garage floor, where he injected our high-density polyurethane system. PolyLevel® expands as it’s injected, compressing fill soils while lifting concrete.
The customer is ecstatic that his garage floor is fixed. He can start living the dream and working on his classic cars, and he saved money choosing Canadian Concrete Leveling.
Sinking Floor
Soils had washed away beneath the floor causing voids, which led to the concrete cracking and sinking
Garage
Separate from the cottage, this garage offers the customer a great spot to use as a workshop
Cracking
When concrete shifts it puts stress on the slab and usually leads to cracking
Leveled Floor
With the floor level, the garage is protected from further sinking and the customer can use the space without worry
