Photo Album: Sinking Pool Deck Threatens Home's Value in Peterborough, Ontario
Having a pool is a great asset for a home to have, and they're a lot of fun, but they require some upkeep over the years.
A customer in Peterborough, Ontario, has an older pool in their backyard that needed some work. They were looking to sell in a few years but were concerned about how their cracking concrete pool deck would affect their home's value. They also have young grandchildren who enjoy the pool, and they were always worried about their safety.
Tired of looking at the eyesore, they reached out to Canadian Concrete Leveling and met with Project Manager Kyle O'Brien. Kyle showed the homeowners our PolyLevel® solution, and a date was set for the repair.
Foreman Bill McKeown drilled several dime-sized holes in the concrete slabs and injected our high-density polyurethane beneath the concrete. This installation process lifts the concrete and compresses fill soils below, preventing the issue from returning.
The customers are thrilled that their concrete is fixed. They thought the repair would cost upwards of $20,000 but are extremely happy with our affordable repair and efficient installation process.
