Photo Album: Old Pool Falling into Disrepair in Toronto, Ontario
Pools are great for a young family. Parents and their kids can enjoy going for a swim during the summer, and it’s a great spot for friends to come hang out.
A customer in Toronto, Ontario, has an old pool that he rarely uses anymore. His kids are older and have all moved out, so the pool sits unused most days. Over the years the concrete patio had started to sink. Tired of looking at it and concerned how it would affect his home’s value, the customer decided it was time to repair the pool deck.
He had no idea where to turn but decided to call Canadian Concrete Leveling after finding us in a local magazine. Project Manager Kyle O’Brien met with the customer and completed a thorough inspection of his pool. Kyle showed the customer how cavities had formed beneath the concrete. This is caused by years of water draining beneath the slabs. After explaining how our PolyLevel® System could repair his pool, the homeowner knew he was making the right choice.
Foreman Kyle McKeown used our 300 ft hose to access the customer’s backyard. The homeowner was expecting a large piece of machinery to come hurtling through his back gate but was pleasantly surprised seeing our non-invasive alternative. Kyle injected our PolyLevel® System beneath the concrete to lift the slabs and fill the gaps. After bringing the concrete back to grade Kyle sealed any cracks with our NexusPro® System. NexusPro® keeps water out of seams and resists UV-rays.
Even though he rarely uses his pool the customer is happy knowing it’s been repaired. His home’s value won’t be affected, and his pool is protected from further problems.
