Photo Album: Risk of Basement Seepage Caused by Sinking Concrete in Mississauga, Ontario
Protecting your home from problems is essential. Sometimes, one problem can grow into a more serious one, so taking care of things sooner than later is always a smart move.
A customer in Mississauga, Ontario, was dealing with sinking concrete around the front and side of his home. Water was pooling against the foundation each time it rained. The homeowner was growing concerned about the possibility of water seepage into his basement but didn’t want to fork out thousands of dollars for new concrete.
After hearing about Canadian Concrete Leveling, the customer was excited to have a simple, non-invasive solution. Project Manager Joe McColl inspected the customer’s walkway and front steps before explaining our PolyLevel® System. PolyLevel® uses expanding high-density polyurethane to lift and level concrete slabs. Joe also showed the customer how we could seal any cracks or seams with our NexusPro® Sealant System.
Project Manager Bill McKeown started the repair by drilling dime-sized holes in the concrete surface to use as injection ports. Bill installed our PolyLevel® System, bringing the concrete back to an even grade before applying NexusPro®.
The client is delighted that he didn’t need to remove hundreds of pounds of concrete. He saved a ton of money using our non-invasive solution and would recommend Canadian Concrete Leveling to anyone in a similar situation.
