Photo Album: Customer Looks for a Permanent Solution After Failed Repair in Mississauga, Ontario
Paying for a repair only for it to fail a few years later is frustrating, to say the least. You trust a company with your money and home, only for their solution to leave you regretful.
In Mississauga, Ontario, a customer reached out to Canadian Concrete Leveling after having a sinking concrete issue addressed a few years earlier by a different company. Mud was pushed under the concrete to lift it, but the homeowner soon noticed the slab sinking again. The concrete was used to support his pool equipment, but the slanted surface was causing wear and tear since the heating element wasn’t sitting correctly. He also had his sinking driveway repaired, but that was again failing.
Project Manager Paul Mendell met with the customer and completed a thorough inspection. Paul explained how our PolyLevel® System uses high-density polyurethane, which expands beneath the concrete to lift it. He walked the client through the different properties that make our polyurethane injections a permanent solution, and the customer was thrilled to hear we backed our system with a warranty.
Foreman Bill McKeown started the repair by drilling dime-sized holes in the concrete surface. Bill made injections through these ports, raising the concrete back to the correct height. Our crew repeated the same process for the driveway and then patched the holes with fresh concrete.
The customer and his family can’t believe how quickly we repaired the concrete. They were surprised they could use the driveway right away compared to their previous experience of waiting two days. They appreciated the communication and hard work from the entire CCL team.
