Photo Album: Sinking Pool Deck and Patio Creates Water Seepage Risk in Brampton, Ontario
Sometimes, one problem at our home can lead to another. Of course, you can fix the latter, but without dealing with the root of the issue, not much changes.
In Brampton, Ontario, a customer reached out to Canadian Concrete Leveling to deal with sinking concrete in his backyard. His pool deck was sinking in several spots, creating trip hazards for his family. To top it off, the settlement around his home was causing water to drain towards the foundation. It was only a matter of time before water seepage was a problem.
Project Manager Alex Balson met with the customer and inspected the backyard. He recommended our PolyLevel® injections to lift the sinking concrete. The system uses high-density polyurethane, and our Production Team followed up to book a repair date
Foreman Bill McKeown and Installation Specialists Malay, Kyle, and Aidan started by drilling numerous dime-sized holes around the pool and foundation. These holes were used as injection ports, and the team carefully lifted the slabs back to a level grade. Finally, the crew sealed the holes with fresh concrete, returning not only the aesthetic of the backyard but also ensuring its safety.
The customer was quite happy to walk out and see the work completed around his home and backyard. He’s thankful for the hard work from the team and the honest assessment from Alex.
