A pool deck in Guelph, Ontario, has seen better days. The deck was a significant tripping hazard, especially for barefoot guests, and the concrete was wet. Canadian Concrete Leveling was called to provide a cost-effective and quick solution without having the homeowners replace the whole deck.
Our Project Manager, Andy Moncrieff, had stopped by the home to create a schematic of what work needed to be done and where it would take place around the pool deck. Even though the process may be fast and straightforward, you need to know exactly where to let the concrete without damaging anything surrounding it, like the inner pool walls.
On a later day, our installation team, Kyle McKeown and Russell, started the PolyLevel® injections to lift the slabs to their original spot. Progressing to the next portion of the job was replacing the floor-to-wall joint sealant located on the side of the home. The existing bond has deteriorated that it is compromising the home's foundation. Next, Kyle and Russell applied our malleable, non-drying, chemical and water-resistant sealant called NexusPro®. This sealant protects the joints, provides a clean finish to your concrete and elevates its appeal.
After the work was completed, the homeowners were thrilled about the entire process. They mentioned that it was a seamless process from start to finish and how open the communication was the whole time. The work did not disrupt the foot traffic and was completed in under 15 minutes. The pool is saved!
