In Mississauga, Ontario, a back patio and staircase had experienced significant settling to the point of not only revealing tripping hazards but exposing the home's foundation. The homeowners wanted to save the concrete without having to replace it or even pour more concrete on top. Since the slabs were in good condition, they searched for a company that could lift the concrete non-invasively, cost-effectively, and permanently. After researching our social media platforms, our new clients found us to be suitable candidates for the work they were looking at.
After giving us a shout, we sent out our Project Manager, Joe McColl, who arrived at the home to provide an honest, yet effective quote to our new homeowners. The homeowners were stunned at how simple the project seemed and how it would not interrupt their foot traffic. On a later day, we had our Installation Specialist, Bill McKeown, come to the home and follow the quote Joe drafted up. He started by drilling holes in the lowest concrete points where the concrete settled the most. From there, Bill began injecting the slabs with our PolyLevel®, which will fill any voids underneath and lift them back up to their original state. Once the levelling was all done, it was time to seal the joints with our NexusPro® sealant, anti-cracking, chemical resistant, and permanent. The job took less than an hour, and the results were immaculate.
