In Mississauga, Ontario, a back patio and staircase had experienced significant settling to the point of not only revealing tripping hazards but exposing the home's foundation. The homeowners wanted to save the concrete without having to replace it or even pour more concrete on top. Since the slabs were in good condition, they searched for a company that could lift the concrete non-invasively, cost-effectively, and permanently.
After giving us a shout, an appointment was made with our Project Manager. He arrived at the home to provide an honest, and complete quote to the homeowners. They were impressed at how simple the project seemed to be and how the installation would not interrupt family members coming and going to the house. When work began, our Installation Specialist started by drilling dime-sized holes in the lowest concrete points where it was sinking the most. From there, he injected the slabs with our PolyLevel®, which fills voids under the concrete lifting it back to its original height. Once the leveling was done, it was time to seal the joints with our NexusPro® sealant – a material that is anti-cracking, chemical resistant, and permanent. The job took less than an hour, and the results were immaculate.
