Sinking Concrete Threatens Pool Stability in Penetanguishene, Ontario

Being away from a property can be a stressful situation. Many cottage owners go through this every winter, so doing what you can to prepare is essential. 

A customer in Penetanguishene, Ontario, had a pool situated near the water, and a retaining wall supported the patio. The pool deck had settled over the years, and water was pooling between the deck and retaining wall. The owner was concerned that a flash-freeze could push out the retaining wall and possibly cause it to lean or collapse.

Looking for a solution without having to redo the wall, the customer called Canadian Concrete Leveling. Project Manager Paul Mendell met the customer at his cottage and inspected the pool deck. The customer was happy to hear we could remedy his problem without any major disruptions. 

Foreman Kyle McKeown used our PolyLevel® polyurethane to lift the concrete slabs. By injecting our system through dime-sized holes, we were able to lift the deck a few inches, bringing the patio back to grade level and eliminating any pooling water. 

The customer is delighted with the work done. Their pool deck is protected, and they can be away from their cottage with peace of mind.
