Before & After

Sinking Walkway Threatens Employee Safety in Brampton, Ontario

Safety is always on the mind of an employer. Ensuring your employees are safe while they’re working is extremely important, and sometimes steps need to be taken to prevent injuries.

A customer in Brampton, Ontario, manages a building that produces pet food packaging. We had done work for them in the past, so they brought us back to deal with a few more issues. The concrete walkway surrounding the building was sinking in several spots, and an employee even tripped.

Concerned for their employee’s well-being, the company reached out to Canadian Concrete Leveling and met with Project Manager Paul Mendell. The manager was already familiar with our services and showed Paul the spots that needed repair.

Foreman Bill McKeown injected our PolyLevel® high-density polyurethane at different spots in the concrete to raise the walkway evenly.

The customer is pleased once again with the work done by Canadian Concrete Leveling. His employees can use the path again safely, and the work was done in a timeframe that didn’t affect their work-flow.
