Walkway Tripping Hazards Threaten Customers in Mississauga, Ontario
Challenge
A great business starts with an impressive first impression. Whether it's a flashy sign out front of a store, or a smooth walkway leading to the front door, the goal is to make a lasting impression on your customer that will keep them coming back.
For a Mississauga, Ontario, business owner, an uneven pathway was not only leaving customers with a negative impression but was also a significant tripping hazard. He was concerned about the safety of his customers, and the uneven concrete made snow removal a hassle. As many Canadians know, nothing is more frustrated than a sudden stop when you're pushing a snow shovel.
Solution
The business owner contacted Canadian Concrete Leveling with the hopes of remedying the problem without redoing the concrete. Project Manager Joe McColl met with the customer at his business and inspected the walkway. Joe explained how our PolyLevel® System works, and our team set up a date for the repairs.
Foreman Kyle McKeown completed the repairs using our PolyLevel® System, which utilizes an expanding polymer to lift the concrete slabs while also stabilizing the ground beneath. Kyle finished the job by filling the injection holes with concrete, leaving the pathway looking like we hadn't even been there.
With the tripping hazard gone, the customer is delighted that his business once again leaves a positive first impression. He's ready to take on the winter now that snow removal will be a breeze as well.
