Improper Back Patio Drainage in Etobicoke, Ontario
Challenge
Our backyard is a place to escape, relax and spend time with friends and family. We want our backyards to be like our own personal oasis. What we don’t want is to walk out into the yard and be faced with a number of tripping hazards, and a sloping patio to top it off.
An elderly customer Etobicoke, Ontario, was dealing with just that. Her backyard patio had settled and shifted, creating several tripping hazards and causing water to drain towards the home. She was concerned about her home’s well-being and her safety, so she reached out to Canadian Concrete Leveling.
Solution
Project Manager Joe McColl met with the homeowner and inspected her backyard. He determined we would be able to fix her patio, and she was thrilled to learn about the solution.
Foreman Bill McKeown and Installation Specialist Mark Sealy drilled several small holes throughout the patio They used these holes to inject our PolyLevel® high-density polyurethane and lift the concrete slabs from below. They also sealed all of the cracks with our NexusPro® system.
The customer is delighted with the completed job. She can use her backyard safely without having to worry, and her home is protected from draining water.
