Customer Brings Us Back for a Different Section in Newmarket, Ontario
Challenge
While a quirk or problem at your home may not be a big deal after you’re used to it, it can still be a surprise for guests.
In Newmarket, Ontario, a customer had been dealing with a sinking walkway and driveway for several years. The problem was only growing worse, and while they were in the habit of stepping over the hazard, friends and family were not. They knew it was a matter of time before someone hurt themselves, so they decided to call Canadian Concrete Leveling.
The homeowner had us out previously to lift his garage floor, so he knew exactly who to turn to when he decided to fix this issue. Project Manager Kyle O’Brien met with the client and inspected the concrete. The customer already knew about our PolyLevel® System, but he was happy again that no concrete would be removed.
Solution
Foreman Kyle McKeown started the repair by drilling dime-sized holes in the concrete surface. Through these holes, he injected our high-density polyurethane. As the solution is injected, it expands, lifting the slab and compressing fill materials below. Once the repair was complete, Kyle patched the holes with fresh concrete. For an added measure of protection, we sealed any cracks and seams with our NexusPro® System. This unique sealant is waterproof and flexible, allowing the slabs to shift without compromising the seal.
The customer is thrilled again with the work done by Canadian Concrete Leveling. He’s glad he brought us back for a second time and recommends us to friends and family.
