Packaging Company Brings Us Back for a Warehouse Repair in Whitby, Ontario
Challenge
Keeping a warehouse efficient is vital for a company. Unneeded slowdowns cost time and money, and managers are always looking for ways to speed things up.
In Whitby, Ontario, a packaging company reached out to Canadian Concrete Leveling several times over the years to deal with sinking warehouse floors. In 2020, they called Project Manager Paul Mendell to set up a repair date for a sinking loading dock.
Solution
Foreman Bill McKeown started the repair by drilling dime-sized holes in the surface of the concrete floor. Using these ports, he injected our high-density polyurethane system, PolyLevel®. As the polymers mix beneath the floor, the product expands to lift the slab and compresses fill soils below. Once the repair was complete, Bill patched the holes with fresh concrete.
Like our previous jobs at this warehouse, the shipping and maintenance staff are relieved that the floor is level. They appreciate how fast we completed the job with minimal disruption to their workflow.
