Sinking Garage Floor Worries Customer in Keswick, Ontario
Challenge
A garage is a handy feature for a home to have. They’re great for storing tools, creating a workshop, or the more traditional vehicle parking. When a garage floor fails, though, it can hamper its use significantly.
A customer in Keswick, Ontario, used his garage for parking, but over the last couple of years, the floor was cracking and sinking. He was concerned about the cost of fixing the concrete, but he was more concerned about the entire floor caving in.
Solution
Project Manager Joe McColl met with the client at his home and put his mind to ease by explaining our solution. Joe walked the customer through our process and how expanding polyurethane injections would solve his problem.
Foreman Kyle McKeown started the repair by injecting our PolyLevel® System beneath the floor through dime-sized holes. Kyle carefully lifted the sinking slabs and compressed the soil below before patching the injection ports with fresh concrete.
The customer is thrilled that his driveway is safe, and he was blown away by the non-invasive, efficient solution offered by Canadian Concrete Leveling.
