Sinking Floor Threatens Workshop in Midland, Ontario
Challenge
A workshop at home can be a great way to save some time and money on DIY projects or start a side business in the comfort of your home.
In Midland, Ontario, a customer has a convenient workshop attached to his home, with just one issue: The entire floor had settled, creating a considerable tripping hazard and forcing the equipment to sit on top of an unlevel surface.
Ready for a change, he reached out to Canadian Concrete Leveling and met with Project Manager Paul Mendell. Paul inspected the area and determined that voids beneath the floor caused the sinking. He walked the customer through our PolyLevel® System, which uses polyurethane injections to lift and level sinking concrete.
Solution
Foreman Bill McKeown injected our PolyLevel® solution through dime-sized holes in the concrete, leaving behind very little evidence that was ever there. Bill carefully lifted the floor and patched the holes with fresh concrete once he was done.
The customer is excited to use his workshop safely again, and he credits the entire Canadian Concrete Leveling team for a job well done.
