Couple Concerned About Winter Safety in Blackstock, Ontario
Challenge
Keeping your home safe and in good working order is essential, especially as we grow older in life.
In Blackstock, Ontario, a couple reached out to Canadian Concrete Leveling after dealing with sinking concrete around their front door and driveway for several years. The issues were getting out of control, and they were concerned about their safety during the winter months.
Project Manager Paul Mendell met with the couple and inspected the exterior of their home. He explained how we could lift and seal the concrete using our PolyLevel® and NexusPro® Systems, and the customers eagerly set up a repair date.
Solution
Foreman Kyle McKeown started the repair by drilling dime-sized holes in the concrete surface to use as injection ports. As the solution is installed, high-density polymers mix and expand, lifting the sinking slab from below. Once he lifted the concrete, Kyle sealed any cracks or seams with our UV-resistant and flexible NexusPro® Sealant.
The customers are delighted with the completed work by Canadian Concrete Leveling. They couldn’t believe how efficient, clean and non-invasive our team was.
