Homeowners Repair Concrete Patio Before Moving Day in Mississauga, Ontario
Challenge
Buying a new home is an exciting time for a family. You get to make the new place yours, and sometimes that involves having some work done before you even move in.
In Mississauga, Ontario, a customer had just purchased a new home and decided to repair the concrete before moving in. Unfortunately, the back patio slabs and front walkway had settled, creating an uneven surface and several tripping hazards.
The homeowner met with Director of Sales Matt McCullough, and they went over the options. Matt explained how voids and washouts cause concrete to sink and offered our PolyLevel® System as a solution, paired with our NexusPro® Sealant.
Solution
Foreman Kyle McKeown started by drilling dime-sized holes in the surface to use as injection ports. As our two-part polyurethane mixes beneath the concrete it expands, lifting the slab and filling any voids below. Next, he sealed any seams and cracks with NexusPro®, keeping out water while resisting harsh UV rays.
The entire family is thrilled with the completed repair, and they’re looking forward to moving in knowing their backyard is safe and protected.
