Saving Christmas!
Challenge
Oh, December. In the days leading up to Christmas, snow is coming down harder every day, and ice is starting to cover every surface. In Toronto, our client was experiencing a sinking front walkway. This sinking walkway allowed a lot of ice buildup in winter and water in spring. With this job happening in the winter, the snow-covered the dangerous ice patches, causing our client to worry about slipping hazards when coming into and out of the home. With snow covering the space often, we had to find an easy and quick solution.
Solution
Our client reached out to us at Canadian Concrete Leveling to see what can be done so that they can have guests visit the house for the holidays. Our project manager Paul Mendell set them at ease when coming up with a Polylevel® solution. Polylevel® is our concrete leveling polymer that requires only a few dime-sized injections to lift the sinking spots to their desired height. Installation foreman Kyle McKeown knew the Polylevel® solution would be easy to install, take 60 minutes to cure, and not disrupt the foot traffic in and out of the house. With the job completed, the clean-up looked immaculate and relieved a lot of stress from our client. Christmas is saved now that the family member can safely navigate the walkway!
