Is Your Pool Okay?
Challenge
When selling your home, potential buyers look at everything to ensure they are investing in something that will last them for many years. This home in Bowmanville, Ontario, had everything going for it internally. However, outside of the house was a different story. The backyard needed some love as it has been neglected over the years. The homeowners had a phenomenal pool, but they never used it ever since the pool deck went due to soil erosion. As a huge selling point to the house, the owners considered that they needed to level the pool deck for it to be functional and increase the property value. The line was intact, but the deck perimeter was lifted in some parts and sinking in, leaving opportunities for the water to spill over into the pool's foundation. Before water attacks the integrity of the swimming pool, Canadian Concrete Leveling was contacted to fix this selling feature of this home permanently!
Solution
Our honest and kind Project Manager, Kyle O'Brien, arrived on the scene to check out what needed to be done. With further investigation, he concluded to implement our polyurethane injections to the back corners of the pool to fill the voids underneath the surface and lift/level the concrete back to its original state. With the homeowners' approval, the go-ahead was given to our Installation division. Later that week, our Installation Supervisor, Kyle McKeown, came and started the injection process. Our injections are barely visible and are the size of a dime! The holes being so small is usually a selling point for our jobs since many homeowners have robust and good condition concrete that can't afford to be destroyed to fill in voids underneath. Once the holes are drilled, it's time to start the injections. Our hose, which runs 300ft+, houses our high-density polyurethane. Injections were made, and the concrete lifted before the customers' eyes before they could even ask questions. At Canadian Concrete Leveling, our process is both cost-efficient and time-effective! The work was complete, with the pool deck forming back to its original height in minutes! The main selling feature in the backyard now has nothing wrong with it. Cannonball!
