Levelling Both Sides of This Home in Brampton, Ontario
Challenge
A home in Brampton Ontario, had two sections of sinking; one on the left side of the walkway and on the other side's front porch. With the homeowners not knowing what options they had, they were only thinking about removing all the tile work that they've laid down and pumping more concrete underneath to lift it back to its original state. After looking at concrete levelling on Instagram, your new clients found Canadian Concrete Leveling to pump polyurethane into the concrete and lift it up immediately. They gave us a call and we were able to send our Project Manager, Julio Soley to the home and get the work in motion.
Solution
Julio started by examining the staircase and noticed, aside from the sinking steps, that the foundation was exposed. It was so revealed to the point that if water comes in, it can eat away at the concrete and deteriorate the home's integrity leading to further structural issues. Moving towards the side of the home, Julio noticed a ton of separation along the side walkway from the home which yet again can lead to structural integrity loss. He drafted up a plan as to what will be done and relayed that information to our installation team. On a later day, our Installation Specialist, Bill McKeown arrived at the home. He got the schematic and started to drill small hole sin the lowest points of the concrete. Once the holes were made, he inserted caps that will hold the PolyLevel® machine so that polyurethane can be pumped into the vids underneath. Once the polyurethane lifted the concrete, it was time to seal the joints on the stairs and the side. Bill used our NexusPro® sealant that is anti-cracking, anti-drying, and malleable to seal off the joints that lead to the foundation so that no water or any other elements can impede. Bill made this all happen in less than half an hour! The homeowners were ecstatic about the work and said they would recommend us to anyone who needs levelling done.
