CCL Saving Basement Flooded Floor, Pickering ON
Challenge
Challenge:
Our client in Pickering, Ontario, underwent some intense basement flooding. The water damaged all the flooring, and the floor started to sink. It was so severe that disaster relief and an engineer had to come to the home to investigate further. Once everything was quoted and repaired, a referral was given out to the homeowners about Canadian Concrete Leveling. Our efficient system allows homeowners to use the space shortly after because the curing time is shorter than other methods. In the past, our clients had done mudjacking but did not like the mess associated, the time, and the temporary lifespan.
Solution
Solution:
Our clients inquired about our work, and we had our experienced Project Manager, Kyle O'Brien, arrive at the home for a free inspection. The work needed to be done injecting the basement floor, including the single slab supporting the sinking fireplace, with our quickly expanding polyurethane system. We call this system PolyLevel®. The lightweight polyurethane will be injected evenly into the floor to fill all the voids and push the concrete up, making it level like before. Once the blueprints were uploaded, and the quote was confirmed, it was time to schedule a day for our installation expert, Kyle McKeown, to start the work. Kyle began drilling probes into the floor for our PolyLevel® to be injected into. After the injections and the concrete was lifted, the holes were filled with fresh concrete. The homeowners were relieved and amazed by the concrete lifting before their eyes. Our patented material is quick to lift, hydrophobic, and long-lasting compared to any other service.
