Residential Photo Album: Tripping Hazard Puts Kids at Risk in Whitby, Ontario
Kids naturally have a curious and adventurous spirit. Whether it’s digging up worms in the dirt, learning more about electronics than their parents could ever know, or just running around having a good time, they’re always on the move.
Unfortunately for parents in Whitby, Ontario, their kids’ adventurous spirit had to be tamed due to numerous tripping hazards around their pool. Settled concrete had caused a number of tripping hazards and a number of cracks were present as well. They were embarrassed by their situation and wanted their pool deck back.
Project Manager Kyle O’Brien met with the homeowners to review their options. Foreman Kyle McKeown and Installation Specialist Mark Sealy used our PolyLevel® Injection System to lift the concrete and fill any voids beneath. Our PolyLevel® System is long-lasting, minimally invasive, and can be installed in a matter of hours.
To prevent moisture from getting beneath the slabs and to improve the look of the deck, Kyle and Mark used our NexusPro® Sealant to seal the cracks. NexusPro® is high-density polymer that is UV resistant and cures in less than an hour.
With their tripping hazards gone the parents are thrilled that their kids can play freely in the backyard again. Their embarrassment is gone, and they are proud of their home once again.
