Residential Photo Album: Sloping Concrete Threatens Residents and Basement in Toronto, Ontario
A tripping hazard is a serious concern for any homeowner. In some cases, it could be caused by a sidewalk or uneven front lawn, but oftentimes it is caused by sinking concrete.
A customer in Toronto, Ontario, was dealing with sinking concrete right outside of his home. He had a walkway made up of concrete slabs, and over the years, they had settled and shifted. Concerned about water draining towards their home and for their safety, the customer reached out to Canadian Concrete Leveling.
Project Manager Joe McColl met the customer at his home and assessed the situation before a date was booked for the repair. Foreman Kyle McKeown installed our PolyLevel® system in several locations to ensure the concrete lifted evenly. After the injections were complete, Kyle patched the holes with fresh concrete.
The customer is happy that their walkway is finally safe. Their home looks better than ever, and the risk of water seepage into their basement has been eliminated.
