Residential Photo Album: Pooling Water Threatens Retaining Wall in Penetanguishene, Ontario
When you leave a property for the winter there are a number of precautions to take. Turning off the water so pipes don’t freeze, bringing everything indoors to prevent weathering, and just a general once over to make sure everything can handle the cold season.
A customer in Penetanguishene, Ontario, wanted to ensure his cottage would be okay over the winter, but he had a concern. His concrete pool deck had settled and water was pooling near the retaining wall. Concerned the water would freeze and ruin the wall, the customer reached out to Canadian Concrete Leveling.
Project Manager Paul Mendell met with the customer and inspected the pool deck. He assured the customer we would be able to level the concrete and a date was booked for the repair.
Foreman Kyle McKeown used our PolyLevel® system to lift and level the concrete slabs, removing the slope and eliminating pooling water.
The customer can’t believe how easy it was to fix the issue. His cottage is protected, and he has peace of mind knowing he doesn’t need to constantly monitor the situation.
