Residential Photo Album: Sinking Concrete Threatens Elderly Residents in Richmond Hill, Ontario
Operating a retirement home is a lot of work. Sometimes the residents have specific health issues that make care difficult, so you want your facilities to be in top-notch shape.
A customer in Richmond Hill, Ontario, operates a retirement facility. Many of his residents love to walk around the grounds, but he noticed several substantial tripping hazards had formed along the walkway.
Concerned for his residents, the owner called Canadian Concrete Leveling and met with Project Manager Joe McColl. Joe walked the customer through our solutions, and a date was set for the repair.
Project Manager Kyle used our PolyLevel® system to lift the concrete and fill any voids below. PolyLevel® uses a high-density polyurethane. It gets injected through dime-sized holes, expands below the concrete to lift and level the walkway.
The customer is delighted that the walkway is repaired. Residents can feel safe using the sidewalk again without worrying about trip hazards.
