Sometimes what seems like a small repair or job can have significant outcomes.
A customer in Oakville, Ontario, had sinking concrete around the majority of his home. Water was pooling against his foundation, and he was concerned that one day it would find its way into his basement.
The homeowner reached out to Canadian Concrete Leveling and met with Project Manager Joe McColl. Joe thoroughly inspected the property and determined the perfect solution to repair the concrete.
Foreman Kyle McKeown started the repair by drilling several dime-sized holes throughout the concrete slabs. He used these as injection ports for our high-density polyurethane. Once injected, it expands beneath the concrete, lifting the slab and compressing the fill soils below to prevent the issue from returning.
The customer no longer has to worry about his basement flooding. He has peace of mind and got it without ripping up hundreds of pounds of concrete.
