Residential Photo Album: Tripping Hazards Threaten Young Family in Toronto, Ontario
We do everything we can to protect and take care of our family and friends, but extra caution is usually taken when it comes to young children.
A Toronto, Ontario, customer decided to call Canadian Concrete Leveling to inquire about their sinking front steps and walkway. There were numerous tripping hazards and cracks forming, so the concerned parents wanted to prevent their kids from tripping. The entire walkway around the house allowed water down towards the foundation. They were concerned about water seepage down the road as well.
Project Manager Paul Mendell met with the customers and inspected their home. After seeing our PolyLevel® solution, the family was excited about the repair and booked a date for our crew to come out.
Foreman Kyle McKeown lifted the concrete slabs using our high-density polyurethane. As the polyurethane is injected, it expands and lifts the slab above while compressing the fill soils below. To ensure water stays out, and to give the concrete a finished look, our NexusPro® Sealant was also installed.
The homeowners are ecstatic with how efficient, non-invasive and affordable the work was. They’re looking forward to using the steps and path without worrying about someone tripping.
