Residential Photo Album: Customers Tired of Putting Up with Tripping Hazard in Whitby, Ontario
The COVID-19 pandemic changed a lot of things for many people. There was tons of free time to go around, and many people used this time to bring their backyards back to life.
A couple in Whitby, Ontario, had decided to upgrade their backyard deck and lounge area. They had several tripping hazards around the pool and thought it was an excellent time to get that taken care of. Friends always had to be warned about the lifted concrete, and they were tired of putting up with it.
Project Manager Kyle O’Brien showed the couple our PolyLevel® solution, and they were pleasantly surprised to see this was even an option for them. They eagerly booked a date for the repair.
Foreman Bill McKeown used dime-sized holes as injection ports for our high-density polyurethane. As our PolyLevel® is injected, the solution expands to lift the concrete back to an even grade while compressing fill soils below.
The customers are very happy that they didn’t skip on repairing their concrete. Their backyard and pool deck look better than ever, and they’re looking forward to sharing the space with friends.
Cracking
We also installed our NexusPro® Sealant overtop of any cracks in the concrete
Tripping Hazard
The large hazard was getting worse each year and the concrete was actually pulling away from the pool
