Residential Photo Album: Industrial Building Walkway Sinks in Aurora, Ontario
A safe accessway for employees and customers is vital to every business. A hazard or a tough to navigate walkway can have people turning away and finding somewhere else to do their business.
A business owner in Aurora, Ontario, reached out to Canadian Concrete Leveling to repair his concrete walkway. The path circled an industrial building, but the slabs had begun to settle. The customer was concerned someone would trip and fall, so he decided to do something about it.
Project Manager Joe McColl travelled to the building and inspected the entire pathway. Joe showed the owner how our PolyLevel® system could lift and level the concrete, and a date was booked for the repair.
Foreman Bill McKeown started by drilling dime-sized holes in the concrete. Using these holes, he injected our high-density polyurethane to lift and level the concrete. PolyLevel® also compresses fill soils as it expands beneath the concrete. Once the concrete was back to an even grade, Bill patched the holes with fresh concrete.
The company owner is pleased with the work done and is happy to let customers and staff use the path freely without worry.
