Residential Photo Album: Sinking Steps Tarnish Beautiful Home in Peterborough, Ontario
A beautiful home is only as good as its first impression.
A customer in Peterborough, Ontario, called Canadian Concrete Leveling with hopes of bringing her front steps back to their former glory. They had settled on an angle, and with elderly parents, she was concerned someone would trip and fall.
Project Manager Paul Mendell travelled to the customer’s home and inspected the walkway. Paul showed her how our PolyLevel® solution could repair the sinking concrete, and the homeowner eagerly booked a repair date.
Foreman Bill McKeown started the repair by drilling dime-sized holes in the concrete to inject our high-density polyurethane beneath the slabs. Once injected, PolyLevel® expands, lifting the concrete and compressing any loose fill soils below. Once the concrete was back to an even grade, Bill patched the holes with fresh concrete.
The customer is delighted with the work done by Canadian Concrete Leveling. Her steps are safe, and she’s looking forward to her elderly parents using them again.
