Residential Photo Album: Void Causes Brand New Patio to Sink in Burk's Falls, Ontario
Building a new home or cottage is an exciting process. You get to put your heart and soul into your new house and customize the way you want to.
A customer in Burk’s Falls, Ontario, had just built his dream custom cottage. The property and building were gorgeous, and he had a specially designed verandah built for the front patio. Soon after completing construction, he noticed the entire deck was sinking towards the wall of the cottage. Concerned about water seepage into his new home, he decided to call Canadian Concrete Leveling.
Project Manager Paul Mendell met with the owner and inspected the entire patio. He showed the customer how our PolyLevel® System could level the concrete and bring it back to a proper grade. The customer was excited to book a repair date.
Foreman Kyle McKeown drilled dime-sized holes in the concrete patio to use as injection ports for our high-density polyurethane. Kyle injects the product in a controlled manner, strategically choosing where to inject and how much. Once the concrete was brought to grade, the holes were patched with fresh concrete.
The customer is thrilled that his new cottage is repaired. He doesn’t need to worry about water seepage and remedied the issue without removing any concrete.
