Residential Photo Album: Sinking Pool Deck Causes Customer to Trip in Mississauga, Ontario
A backyard pool is an excellent asset for a home to have but keeping them safe and functioning properly is crucial.
A customer in Mississauga, Ontario, was dealing with multiple tripping hazards around their pool. Himself and family members had tripped, and the homeowner was tired of worrying every time someone used the pool. The entire family loved using the pool and backyard, but the tripping risk was always there. Ready for a change, he reached out to Canadian Concrete Leveling.
Project Manager Kyle O’Brien met with the customer and inspected his pool deck. Kyle explained how voids beneath the concrete could lead to sinking and how our PolyLevel® solution could fix the problem.
Foreman Kyle McKeown started by drilling dime-sized holes in the concrete slabs. He used these holes to inject our high-density polyurethane, which expands beneath the concrete. This process lifts the slab and compresses any fill soils below.
The customer and his family are thrilled that their pool deck is repaired, and they can use the space safely again.
