Residential Photo Album: DIYers Call Canadian Concrete Leveling for Sinking Front Porch in North York, Ontario
Doing your own home renos is a great ability to master. You can save yourself time and money, and there’s something about looking at a finished project knowing your blood, sweat, and tears went into it.
A couple in North York, Ontario, had just purchased a new-to-them home. They had some big renovation plans, and part of that plan was to redo the front porch. The couple was doing the repairs themselves, but they knew they needed some extra help when it came to leveling their front porch.
They reached out to Canadian Concrete Leveling and met with Project Manager Kyle O’Brien. Kyle inspected the front porch and listened to what the customers were saying. The patio was sinking to one side, and the supporting posts couldn’t be redone until the slab was level. Kyle explained how our PolyLevel® System could bring the concrete back to a level grade without removing anything or bringing in heavy equipment. He showed them a video demonstrating how PolyLevel® expands beneath concrete, and they were surprised such a unique solution wasn’t more common.
Foreman Bill McKeown started the repair by drilling dime-sized holes in the porch surface. Through these injection ports, he installed our high-density polyurethane. Bill brought the slab back to a level grade before patching the holes with fresh concrete.
The clients are very happy that they chose Canadian Concrete Leveling for their porch repair. They can’t wait to start working on their renovations and have peace of mind knowing their porch is stable and secure.
