Residential Photo Album: Customer Avoids the Cost and Hassle of New Concrete in Mississauga, Ontario
When you invite friends over for dinner, the last thing you should have to do is meet them at the front door to guide them over your dangerous front steps.
For a customer in Mississauga, Ontario, this is what he and his wife had to do all the time. Their front steps had settled 14 inches over the years. Not only was this a hazardous trip hazard, but it was way out of code.
Concerned they would have to rip out the entire front porch and steps, the couple reached out to Canadian Concrete Leveling for an alternative solution. They met with Project Manager Paul Mendell who put their worries to rest after explaining our repair methods.
After hearing about how PolyLevel® System could lift his front steps using high-density polyurethane, he let Paul know that he was having a similar issue around his pool as well.
Foreman Bill McKeown started the repair by drilling dime-sized holes in the concrete surface. He injected our two-part polyurethane solution through these ports, which expands beneath the concrete to lift the slab. After the concrete was back to a safe grade with proper drainage, Bill patched the holes with fresh concrete.
The couple is happy that they decided to reach out to Canadian Concrete Leveling. They saved the hassle of having concrete excavated and saved thousands along the way doing so.
