Residential Photo Album: Customer Reaches Out After Seeing Our Work at His Neighbour's in Mississauga, Ontario
Sometimes, seeing is believing. You can stare at your property for hours trying to figure out what to do, but once you see it somewhere else, it clicks right away.
In Mississauga, Ontario, a customer reached out to Canadian Concrete Leveling after seeing our crew at a neighbour’s home. He had never heard of our PolyLevel®System but was so impressed that he called us about his sinking pool deck.
Project Manager Paul Mendell met with the customer and inspected his backyard and pool deck. The customer pointed out the trouble areas, and Paul went into a deeper explanation of how our polyurethane solution works, expanding on what the client had already witnessed.
Foreman Bill McKeown started by drilling dime-sized holes in the concrete surface to use as injection ports. As he injected our high-density polyurethane, the polymers expanded beneath the surface. This expansion lifts the slabs above while compressing fill soil below, preventing the problem from returning.
The customer was eagerly awaiting Bill’s arrival the morning of the repair and was happy to see the lifting process take place at his property. He loved the fact the repair was so quick and with no mess or disruption.
Pool Deck Before
As concrete pool decks sink, they can compromise the pool coping and possibly damage the expensive liner
Pool Deck After
We removed the hazard, making the pool area safe and protecting the pool edge
Settlement
Some slabs had settled close to two inches, caused by fill soils below washing away
Hazard
These poorly packed fill soils continue to sink as time goes on, and the extra water around a pool doesn't help
Smooth Surface
The customer and his family were happy they could walk on the concrete the same day the work was complete
