Residential Photo Album: Sinking Patio Threatens Foundation and Basement in Mississauga, Ontario
Your home’s foundation is a crucial part of its structure, and if it fails, it can lead to a slew of problems. Not to mention the thousands of dollars-worth of repairs, it can leave you without a place to stay for an extended period.
A customer in Mississauga, Ontario, reached out to Canadian Concrete Leveling to deal with sinking concrete that was sloping towards his foundation. He was worried it was a matter of time before he was dealing with water in his basement and was even more concerned about the long-term toll on his foundation.
Project Manager Danny Dos Santos met with the customer and inspected the patio. He recommended our PolyLevel® System and NexusPro® Sealant.
Our crew started by drilling dime-sized holes in the concrete surface to use as injection ports. As our high-density polyurethane, PolyLevel®, is injected, it expands beneath the surface to lift concrete slabs. Next, the team sealed the seam next to the foundation with NexusPro®, preventing water seepage and resisting harsh UV-rays.
The customer is blown away by how we protected his foundation and completed the repair in a day. He wouldn’t hesitate to recommend us to friends and family.
