Sometimes the most innocuous things can be the most dangerous. Often overlooked and ignored lips and dips in concrete can be a significant tripping hazard. For example, this garage in Toronto was experiencing heaving of their garage floor. This heaving caused a large, unsightly crack to grow, creating a noticeable 1-inch lip in the ground. Not only ugly but more importantly unsafe, the customer wanted to secure access to their space by bringing the floor back to level and the hazard eliminated. Installation foreman Bill McKeown was on site first thing in the morning to install our patented PolyLevel® system and bring some peace of mind back to the customer. This artistic installation process starts by drilling small holes into the concrete that penetrate the earth underneath. The second step is to inject our polyurethane material patiently and methodically underneath the entire piece of concrete. Designed and engineered to relevel concrete, PolyLevel® safely and securely will hold the concrete in place for years to come. The customer is now happy they regained safe and accessible use of their garage and their well-needed storage space.
