Residential Photo Album: Walkway Along The Home Is Sloping In Disaster, Toronto, ON
This home in Toronto, Ontario, had a problematic walkway alongside the home. The walkway was leaning inwards towards the home making it very dangerous to walk on and water was sliding toward the home's foundation. To avoid any hazards, the homeowners wanted to level out the concrete and make it slope away from the home. After doing some research, the homeowners found Canadian Concrete Leveling to compete for the work in a permanent, cost and time-effective way. We had our Project Manager, Joe McColl, come to the home and quote our new clients the work. Then on a later day, we had our experienced Installation Specialist, Bill McKeown, come to the home and start the project. Here is how it went.
Towards the home?
You can see the sinking occurring in the slab that is revealing the foundation and making the concrete slope in the wrong direction.
Before the Change
As you can see there are tripping hazards between the concrete slabs which worried the homeowners.
Moving down towards the gate.
The PolyLevel® looks very seamless as you make your way down to the gate.
Moving along the side.
A long shot of how the slope has changed.
The change
The walkway before was sloping towards the home but now it is redirected away.
