The corner.
This is the troublesome corner that the homeowners were not worried about and this is the lowest point on the patio. If you examine the colour of the exposed foundation you can tell that water has been interrupting this space for a while. Time to level this once and for all.
Shorter and shorter
As you make your way away from THE corner, the foundation exposure gets smaller.
The highest point.
As you move along the wall, this was the highest point where there was sinking but not as much as the corner.
A different look at things.
As you can see towards the corner, it swoops in near the step and further down the wall.
The blueprint.
This is our schematic of what needs to get done. Fairly straightforward but has a lot of ground to cover.
Getting to it.
The holes in drilled and the concrete are levelled around it, now it's time to lift this bad boy back.
Checking where we are at.
Levelling out the spots we've done before in comparison to the corner to ensure we are not going under nor over.
Sealant Is in.
Our NexusPro® sealant is applied in the joint to protect any water from ever wanting to penetrate in.
The problematic corner.
This is the same corner that was 3 1/2" sinking. The corner is levelled back to its original height. And yes, that is our NexusPro® sealant in the joints.
Lets take a look from a different angle.
The problematic corner is now sloped upward so the water will trickle along the patio and make it to this step here.
