The sinking step
Notice towards the home there is separation from the wall and there is a crack forming. This is where the foundations integrity is at stake.
Doubled in size
Based on our measurement, the gap between both steps was approximately 2 1/2 inches, and as you can see, its doubled from the settlement.
Follow the marker
The brown marker is where the concrete sat before and from all the water collection, leaving a bronze stripe. The settlement along the walkway is just under 2 inches.
The blueprints
This is what the blueprints are for the work. It may be a small section of the home but it is a common used space that needs to be fixed.
Injection time
Time to lift and level the step to the state it was at before. Notice we injected it into the walkway and not the step. This is to make sure that all the voids are filled and that everything lifts with it and not just the step.
NexusPro® time
This was time for our NexusPro® sealant to be applied to the joints that had water go in them.
A closer look
This is what the sealant looks like up close. It tucks in perfectly and repels any water that wants to impede.
