Floor To Wall Separation
Notice the large gap from the base of the wall to the floor.
After
The wall gap has been minimized. Time to work not the rest of the space.
Stairs After
The gap in the stairs has been reduced substantially.
Stairs Before
The stairs had undergone some movement from the floor sinking below. Void fills can affect not only the floor but the structural integrity of the home.
Bathroom Too?
The bathroom has been affected by the sinking causing the shower to step up to sink with the floor. This gap has to be minimized before the water makes its way into the foundation when the shower is used.
Runs All The Way Across
The shower threshold has been sinking all the way across.
The Laundry Room
As shown in the diagram, the laundry room was affected. Here is what happened.
A Close Up
The laundry room is sinking. 2+ inches!
Laundry Other Side
The other side of the laundry room. A better perspective of the slope in the sinking. The right corner is the lowest point.
The Diragarm
Three full rooms had to be void filled.
How Big Is It?
The hall way shows the three points that we are working with. Bigger in person.
The Entryway Into The Basement.
Notice hoe not only the wall near the steps had separated but the door frame too.
The Line That Divides
The kitchen marks where the sinking starts and ends. The newly placed floors thankfully cracked directly in half.
Crack Sealed
The crack in the kitchen has been sealed and the sinking portion near the fridge has been levelled.
