Water collection
During rainfall, the water pools by the door since it is the lowest point. The step up to the back door has grown significantly from the sinking.
Piece by piece
Since the concrete is essentially one slab, we have to level a bit at a time or else the large slab would crack.
More injections
Injecting our high-density polyurethane into the undersoil to lift and level concrete.
Getting close
The sinking part near the door is level to the foundation line mentioned earlier.
Achieving the height
On the concrete foundation, you can see a faint line where the concrete used to sit. The slope is also visible on the back, perpendicular wall where it is sloping right to left.
Level
The floor is now slightly past level making water slope away from the home and onto the lawn.
No trace
After our levelling is complete, we cover our injections points with fresh concrete for a seamless look.
Closer Look
Concrete is sinking about 2 inches toward the house.
Injection points
Drilling small dime-sized holes into the concrete to fit our PolyLevel® injection system.
