It's that time of year to clean up the back patio, uncover all the furniture, and get the grill ready, but there was one problem when setting up this space. In Washago, Ontario, this concrete back patio had started to sink and crack. The homeowners were worried about how much this fix would cost. In addition, the concrete was now angled so that when rainwater would land on top, it would get directed toward the home's foundation. Only half the concrete was sinking which resulted in it cracking down the middle. Weighing their options, they decided to have the pros at Canadian Concrete Leveling handle the situation. 

Our most experienced Project Manager, Paul Mendell, arrived at the home to recommend two products that would leave the patio levelled back to its standard height and sealed from all the elements. Our Installation Supervisor, Kyle McKeown, began the levelling process using our PolyLevel® Injection System. High-density, quick-expanding polyurethane is injected through the concrete to fill voids and stabilize the soil below. PolyLevel® is a lightweight and long-lasting solution for all sinking concrete. To seal everything together and protect the PolyLevel®, Kyle used our NexusPro® sealant. The homeowners were amazed by the professionalism and swiftness of the work. Planning for retirement is exciting, but also a lot of work. It takes a lot of financial planning, but the reward of enjoying your golden years is well worth it.

A customer in Sebright, Ontario, recently purchased a cottage property. He had torn down the original building but wanted to keep the garage as a place to work on his classic cars with his son during his retirement. It's a great space for a workshop, but the concrete slab the garage was sitting on had cracked and settled. 

We had previously done work for the customer's home in Uxbridge, Ontario, so he knew exactly who to call when he discovered the problem.

Project Manager Paul Mendell met with the customer at his new property and inspected the garage. Paul discovered that voids had formed beneath the building, and this was causing the concrete to settle.

Foreman Bill McKeown worked hard using our PolyLevel® System to lift the concrete slab. Bill injected our high-density polyurethane beneath the slabs to evenly lift the concrete.

The customer is thrilled that his garage is level. He can start to renovate and turn it into a shop, and he's delighted that Canadian Concrete Leveling exceeded his expectations once again for a fraction of the cost.

This customer wanted to bring his old boathouse back to its former glory and logically the first step is to ensure the concrete foundation is strong level, and true. The customer also wanted to sleep easy knowing their boat, their baby was sleeping safe and sound just a couple feet from their door. Project Manager Paul Mandell quickly got to work and designed a custom solution that will withstand the test of time. In a timely and professional manner, the installation team got to work repairing the concrete and sealed it, making it appear brand new.

With the concrete foundation under the boathouse repaired the customer could continue their renovation with peace of mind. All they need to think about now is how beautiful it is going to look when the renovation is completed.
