Open Up To The World in Cambridge, Ontario

As the world starts opening again post the pandemic, we are more than inclined to greet and host all our distanced friends and family. But, unfortunately, for most if not all of us, we have been virtually isolated from any social event, let alone hosting one. With almost two years of absent thanksgiving dinners, Christmas parties and events, people worldwide anxiously crave closeness, community and company. With Winter approaching faster than ever and the pandemic almost behind us, now is the period to make up for the lost time.

The last thing anyone wants to be responsible for is the unnecessary injury of their friends and family. An uneven walkway can always pose a severe risk to anyone using it, even for the youngest and healthiest members of one's family. But the risk of tripping gets exponentially higher during the Winter months with the introduction of low light conditions, ice, snow and sleet. Uneven, icy and slippery walkways can be a recipe for disaster. Not only is the safety and well-being of your loved ones at risk, but anyone also entering your property, say a salesperson or girl scout that sustains an injury, can make you, the homeowner, financially responsible. These and many more reasons are why Canadian Concrete Leveling is on a mission to eradicate unnecessary injury resulting from uneven concrete. We are always committed to keeping your family safe for years to come.

The emergence of Winter also comes with it the delights of the holiday season. It is a season of joy, love and friendship. The last thing it should be associated with is danger. This customer and their entire family in Cambridge, Ontario, we're committed to finding an economical and long-lasting solution to their dangerous uneven walkway. They reached out to Andy Moncrieff, Project Manager at Canadian Concrete Leveling for our long-proven track record of providing peace of mind to homeowners. Foreman Kyle McKeown installed the patented PolyLevel® technology to fill the gaps underneath the concrete slabs, raising them to perfectly level. PolyLevel® is designed to withstand for years in the harshest of conditions and will make an unsafe walkway safe in very little time. Have a hazardous walkway? We can help.

Concrete Slab Under Gazebo Becomes Uneven

This family home in Binbrook, Ontario, had a new gazebo put in their backyard for family dinners and to entertain their guests in the summer. Unfortunately, not long after it was built, they discovered that the concrete below was sinking making the homeowners concerned for the gazebo’s stability.

Installation Specialist Kyle McKeown and his team used our PolyLevel® Polyurethane injection to bring the slope of the concrete back to its original level. This allowed the family to get back to enjoying their new gazebo within hours of installation! They were so pleased with how easy of a fix-it was, and they did not have to put a dent in their bank accounts to replace the concrete.

Tripping Hazards Around Home were Dangerous for Grandkids, Hamilton, ON

A pair of elderly homeowners from Hamilton, Ontario, called Canadian Concrete Leveling regarding various tripping hazards around their property. They didn't think there was much of an issue until one day their grandson had a near trip from a sinking concrete slab. After that moment, they wanted to make sure that was the only one. Then they found more and more. The homeowners took pride in the maintenance around their property, even the concrete, so the concrete was in excellent condition minus the sinking. Our Project Manager, Danny Dos Santos, arrived to investigate the issue better and get to the bottom of these treacherous walkways. He concluded that the best approach would be two systems, one being our PolyLevel® injection, and the following would be NexusPro® sealant. In tandem, they will lift the concrete, stabilize underneath, and seal off any joints where water can enter. Danny explained how each system worked, and the homeowners said, "That sounds like magic, let's do it!".

Our Installation Specialists, arrived to transform this home from a tripping nightmare to a safe haven. They began by drilling dime-sized holes into the lower points of the concrete that will hold our PolyLevel® system. After the injections are made and the concrete has achieved the desirable height, it is time to seal the joints with our NexusPro®. Nexus is a great, waterproof, chemical-resistant joint sealant that does not crack and dry out. The homeowners were delighted with the work that everyone had done, from the initial call to the clean-up on-site. The grandparents now had peace of mind that the kids could traverse the property without running the risk of tripping.

Double Trouble, Hamilton, Ontario

Double trip-hazard threat had homeowners in Hamilton, ON, worried that friends and family could be hurt using their front steps or crossing the threshold leading into the garage. Once the homeowners discovered Canadian Concrete Leveling, they were excited to book an appointment for a free quote. Our Project Manager Danny Dos Santos inspected the property and let the homeowners know that our PolyLevel® system would fix all of the concrete issues. Our polyurethane injection system is a hydrophobic, lightweight and permanent solution. The homeowners wanted to learn even more about our PolyLevel® system once our production team arrived. Our Installation Foreman, Billy McKeown, was happy to answer all their questions every step of the process. The installation took less time than the homeowners expected. They were extremely happy that they could use the front walkway and garage threshold in no time and that their friends and family would be safe.

Sinking concrete all over this home, Hamilton ON

In Hamilton, Ontario, this home had sinking concrete all over the house – from the stairs, the driveway, and the side walkway. The homeowners were very concerned about the multiple spots for uneven concrete since they could trip on either one. A solution was needed, but they wanted to find the most permanent, cost-effective, and minimally invasive levelling process.

After seeing our social media content and referrals, the homeowners knew they wanted to choose Canadian Concrete Leveling to fix their concrete troubles. After the initial inquiry, we were able to send our Project Manager, Matt Ruskin, to the home and draft up a quote. Our polyurethane injection method is the most inexpensive yet durable solution for concrete levelling, blowing the owners away. Matt quoted our PolyLevel® to be done at the lowest concrete points, especially at the front staircase. On a later day, our installation team, Kyle and JP, came to the home to begin levelling the concrete. Thankfully the work did not interrupt the daily foot traffic of their home, and since they worked in sections, they were hardly in the way. The work was done seamlessly, and the result shocked the owners since it looked like the concrete that was originally placed.
