Canadian Concrete Leveling Before & After Photos

A concrete patio in Oakville ON was sinking and started to slope towards the foundation of our customer’s house. The homeowner was worried that water might start leaking into the basement.

The customer called Canadian Concrete Leveling for advice and to book an appointment. Our Project Manager suggested our patented PolyLevel Injection System. Our expert installation team used polyurethane to fill the voids under the concrete patio and used NexusPro Joint Sealant to seal cracks.

A customer in Oakville, Ontario, was dealing with sinking front concrete steps. The way it looked didn’t bother him, but he was concerned someone would trip and fall at some point. Each winter, snow and water would pool in the spot as well, turning part of his front walkway into a skating rink. Rather than waiting for someone to hurt themselves, he decided to call Canadian Concrete Leveling.

Project Manager Kyle O’Brien met with the customer and inspected his front walkway. Kyle explained how our PolyLevel® and NexusPro® Systems work, and the customer was excited to book a date for the repair.

PolyLevel® is made from two polymers that combine to form a high-density polyurethane. When the mixture is injected below the concrete, it expands, compressing fill soils and lifting the slab. PolyLevel® weighs less than 10% of other lifting methods and cures in 15 minutes rather than 24 hours. 

NexusPro® is a flexible, waterproof sealant that keeps moisture and debris out of concrete cracks and seams. NexusPro® is UV resistant and cures in only an hour. 

Foreman Kyle McKeown started by drilling dime-sized holes in the concrete surface to use as injection ports. After lifting the concrete with our high-density polyurethane, the holes were patched with fresh concrete. 

The customer is very happy that everything was so non-invasive and efficient. He was pleasantly surprised that he could use the area the same day and has peace of mind knowing safety is no longer a concern.

Ahh the warm weather has finally arrived, and with the heat, comes lots of family pool days! For pool owners, the pool days in the water with your family are the most looked forward to in the summer months. But that doesn’t mean that pools come with many safety hazards that need to be considered. One thing that shouldn’t be around is the potential tripping hazards that come from uneven concrete. For this family in Oakville, Ontario, there were multiple sections around their pool that had uneven and cracked concrete. This was a great concern for the homeowners as this was a major hazard for themselves, their children, and guests.

After attempting mud jacking, they realized that the approach was just not suitable for their situation. So, they called Canadian Concrete Leveling to help them find a long-lasting solution that did not require them to replace their concrete completely. Our solution was to lift and level the sunken slabs without PolyLevel® expandable foam that cures within 30 minutes of application. Next, they sealed off the cracks with NexusPro®, which is a flexible solution that is durable against UV rays, and heat, and will not deteriorate. In no time, the family was able to use their pool without the fear of an accident that could have been avoided!

Here in Oakville, Ontario, homeowners had a sinking driveway on the left side. You may be thinking that it's a good thing a driveway would be sloping since it pushes water in a different direction from the house, but it had been highly inconvenient for the homeowners. With cars sitting sideways and shovelling snow off the sinking concrete challenging, this driveway's new shape wasn't good for the homeowners. However, they were left at ease with Canadian Concrete Leveling's Project Manager, Danny Dos Santos, helping the clients with an alternative to getting new driveway slabs. 

Our Installation Specialist came on a later day to lift the slabs to their original position using our PolyLevel®, high-density polyurethane. The process took little to no time, and the driveway could be used almost immediately - another functional driveway in the neighbourhood.

This pool deck in Oakville Ontario, needed a pick-me-up, literally. The homeowner noticed there were various tripping hazards along the deck when accidentally tripping over one. The concrete had started to sink and the pool liner had revealed a gap that followed down the side of the pool. If the gap isn't filled, the pool water would trickle into the void causing concrete damage and further cracks. 

Canadian Concrete Levelling was called to fix this unlevelled concrete permanently. Our Project Manager Matt Ruskin arrived at the home to give these kind homeowners an honest quote. Since the concrete was sinking only on one side, Matt suggested a few polyurethane injections going into the one slab to lift the deck back to its original state. On a later day, we had our installation duo Kyle and JP come to the home and start the work. They used our PolyLevel® polyurethane lifting method and the concrete lifted with ease!
