Sinking Front Steps Force Elderly Parents to Stop Visiting in Georgetown, Ontario

Doing what we can for our families is essential to most people. We take care of our kids when they’re sick, and we do what we can to make our parent's lives more comfortable as they grow older.

A customer in Georgetown, Ontario, had a sinking front step that was causing some trouble. The homeowner’s elderly parents would often visit but walking up the steps was becoming more of a challenge each time.

After reaching out to Canadian Concrete Leveling, the customer met with Project Manager Paul Mendell. Paul showed him how our PolyLevel® system could lift and level concrete, and the customer booked a date for the repair.

Foreman Kyle McKeown used our PolyLevel® high-density polyurethane to lift and level the concrete. He injected the solution through dime-sized holes where it expands beneath the concrete, lifting the slab and compressing fill soils. To complete the repair, Kyle patched the holes with fresh concrete.

The homeowner is very happy that the steps are safe for his parents again, and he’s glad he didn’t wait any longer to fix the problem.

Sinking Pool Deck Results in Stubbed Toes in Georgetown, Ontario

Putting off a renovation or repair is something we're all guilty of doing. You know it needs to be done, but you're dreading the cost, so you make it work for as long as you can.

In Georgetown, Ontario, a customer decided to reach out to Canadian Concrete Leveling after dealing with a sinking pool deck for years. The customer's kids had been stubbing their toes for several summers, but he didn't want the expense of removing and pouring new concrete.

He was pleasantly surprised to hear about our solution while meeting with Project Manager Paul Mendell. Paul explained how our PolyLevel® System uses expanding polyurethane to lift concrete slabs in a day's work. The client was over the moon about this solution and booked a repair date.

Foreman Bill McKeown started the repair by drilling dime-sized holes in the concrete surface to use as injection ports. As he made the repair, Bill carefully monitored the slab's height to ensure the correct level.

The homeowner is happy to have a smooth pool deck finally. His kids can use the pool without losing any toenails, and he saved time and money choosing our non-invasive solution.

Permanently Protected Concrete!

One of our Installation Foreman's, Bill McKeown, applied SealantPro™ to prevent any further damage to our client's backyard.

Since SealantPro™ is permanently bonded, the cracks around their pool will no longer spread, their concrete is UV resistant, and also makes ice removal in the winter simple.

Backdoor Step Sinks and Pools Water in Mississauga, Ontario

Sometimes things fail even when everything looks perfectly fine. There could be something going on behind the scenes, but it’s an annoying thing to deal with.

In Mississauga, Ontario, a customer reached out to Canadian Concrete Leveling after growing concerned about their back step. The entire step had settled over the last year, creating a serious tripping hazard. Water was also an issue, pooling near the steps and freezing in the winter.

Project Manager Kyle O’Brien met with the homeowner and inspected his back patio. The customer thought he would need to remove and redo the steps when Kyle first arrived. After hearing about our PolyLevel® System, the customer’s eyes lit up. He was thrilled to find a non-invasive solution that could be done in a day’s work.

Foreman Kyle McKeown used our high-density polyurethane injections, PolyLevel®, to lift the step back to a level and safe grade. As our system is injected, it expands, raising the concrete and compressing any fill soils below.

The customer is relieved that his concrete is repaired. He’s happy it was a “quick but long-term fix” and has peace of mind knowing his investment is protected.
